Terms of Service

LekhaPro is built and operated by Global Synapse Technologies (“we”, “us”), India. These terms cover this website, the LekhaPro account, licensing and billing services, the LekhaPro Desktop application and the LekhaPro Cloud edition (together, the “Service”).
Your account
Sign-in is passwordless: you authenticate with a one-time code sent to your email address, so there is no password for us to store or for you to leak. You are responsible for keeping access to that mailbox secure and for the actions of users you invite into your business. Roles and permissions let you decide who in your business can see or change what.
Your data and your books
On the Desktop edition your accounting books live in a local database on your own machine, with encrypted backups you control. We do not store, sync or have access to those books. On the Cloud edition your business runs in its own isolated tenant, scoped strictly to your account.
Your business data is yours. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to train AI models for anyone. Reports, ledgers and registers export to PDF and Excel at any time — there is no lock-in. How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy, and our security practices are described on the Security page.
Acceptable use
Use the Service lawfully. Do not attempt to breach or probe the Service's authentication, tenant isolation or licensing controls, resell or redistribute the software outside the licence you hold, or use the Service to store or transmit unlawful content. We may suspend access where we reasonably believe these controls are being circumvented.
Licensing and seats
Desktop licences are validated against your account, and device fingerprints are used to enforce the seat count on your plan (see the Privacy Policy). The specific seat, device and multi-company entitlements that apply to you are those shown on your plan at pricing and on your invoice.
Fees, billing and trials
Plans and prices are published on our pricing page. Subscriptions are billed through Razorpay; your card and payment details are handled by the payment gateway and are never stored on our systems. Trial availability and duration are as described on the pricing page at the time you sign up.
Renewal and auto-renewal mechanics, price-change notice periods, taxes and invoicing terms, and consequences of non-payment.
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time. To cancel or to ask about a refund, contact support@globalsynapsetech.com and we will walk you through it.

Availability and support
The Desktop edition is offline-first and keeps working without an internet connection; it does not depend on our servers to run your books. Cloud edition availability, and the support channels and response expectations attached to each plan, are set out below.
Any service-level commitment (uptime target, credits), scheduled-maintenance windows and per-plan support response times. No SLA is offered on this site until one is signed off.
Intellectual property
We own the LekhaPro software, brand and site content. You own your business data. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of your data to us, or of our software to you beyond the licence you buy.
Warranties and liability
Warranty disclaimers and any limitation or cap on liability. These have deliberately not been drafted here — an invented liability cap is unenforceable at best and misleading at worst.
Suspension and termination
Notice periods, cure periods, data-retention and data-export windows after termination, and grounds for immediate suspension.
Changes to these terms
How we notify you of changes, and the notice period before a change takes effect.
Governing law and disputes
Governing law, jurisdiction and dispute-resolution venue. These depend on the registered entity and state of registration and are not stated anywhere on this site until confirmed.
