Distribution · Cloud pack

Secondary sales you can actually see

A four-tier channel hierarchy with territories and beats, a stop-by-stop day book, van sales with settlement, trade promotions, cold chain and a deterministic route optimiser — the sell-out side of distribution, not just the sell-in invoice. Enabled as a cloud marketplace pack.

  • The channel, mapped

A territory tree and a four-tier distributor → sub-stockist → wholesaler → retailer hierarchy, beats with ordered stops, tiered price lists with a live rate resolver that tells you which list a rate came from, and sales targets per partner.

  • The day, stop by stop

A mobile-first beat day book: pick a beat and a date, see the ordered stops with each dealer’s last visit status, and one-tap log a visit, an order or a collection. Route planning sequences those stops with a deterministic optimiser — great-circle distance, nearest-neighbour construction, then 2-opt improvement — with no maps service in the loop.

  • Van sales, delivery and returns

Register vans, issue a load sheet, settle the run. A delivery board moves dispatches through to delivered, a returns register captures reason and value, and distributor stock is bucketed into in-transit, reserved, damaged and near-or-expired with a to-reorder count against it.

  • Schemes, claims and the money

Trade promotions with a budget and claim ledger, principal claims measured against purchase-target achievement, a collections desk with post-dated cheques, bounces and target achievement, and a financial view of credit exposure, ageing, collection efficiency, interest on overdue and blocked customers.

  • Read the channel deterministically

Demand planning derives average demand, standard deviation, safety stock and reorder point and turns them into procurement suggestions; secondary-sales analytics separates primary from secondary; and the executive, analytics and intelligence hubs produce a severity-ranked brief that works with AI switched off.

Frequently asked

How is this different from your FMCG distribution and super-stockist pages?

Those describe the offline desktop edition — bulk billing, schemes, credit control and GST for one distributor’s own books. This is the cloud Distribution pack: the channel below you. Beats, visits, van runs, secondary sell-out, trade promotions and dealer collections, enabled from Business Add-ons in the browser app.

Does the route optimiser call a maps API?

No. It is a pure offline computation — great-circle distance between the stops’ own coordinates, a nearest-neighbour tour, then 2-opt local improvement — so it is deterministic, costs nothing per call, and provably never returns a worse order than the one you gave it. Stops without coordinates are kept and appended, not dropped.

Do my field staff need a native app?

No — the beat day book and the field-mobile cockpit are responsive browser screens laid out for a phone. A native mobile app is not part of this build.

Does the AI invent numbers?

No. The distribution brief, the executive rollup and the analytics feed are deterministic read-models over your own hierarchy, visits, invoices, receipts and scheme data, and they still work with AI switched off.

What exactly is included in Distribution · Cloud pack?

territory tree + four-tier channel hierarchy, beats with ordered stops & a mobile-first beat day book, tiered price lists with a rate resolver, and partner targets, deterministic route optimiser — haversine, nearest-neighbour, 2-opt, van sales — vans, load sheets, runs and settlement and delivery board, returns register & distributor stock buckets, and 7 more. Every item on that list is a working screen you can open in the trial rather than a capability described in the abstract.

How is distribution · cloud pack handled differently here?

It rests on the channel, mapped, the day, stop by stop, van sales, delivery and returns, schemes, claims and the money and read the channel deterministically. The distinction that matters is that these are structural rather than cosmetic — the behaviour is built into how records are posted, not layered on as a report you have to remember to run.

Does Distribution · Cloud pack work offline?

On the Desktop edition, yes — completely. territory tree + four-tier channel hierarchy and beats with ordered stops & a mobile-first beat day book run against a local database on your own machine, so the screens behave the same with the network unplugged as with it connected. AI and billing are the only two things that reach out. On the Cloud edition distribution · cloud pack runs in the browser and needs a connection.

Does Distribution · Cloud pack post to the real books?

Yes, and that is the whole reason it lives in this product rather than beside it. What the channel, mapped records lands in the same posted double-entry ledger the Trial Balance, P&L and GST returns are built from — so there is no second set of distribution · cloud pack numbers to reconcile against the first.

How does Distribution · Cloud pack affect my GST?

It feeds it directly rather than sitting alongside it. CGST/SGST and IGST are split from HSN or SAC and place of supply as each document is raised, so whatever distribution · cloud pack produces is already correct when GSTR-1, 3B and 2B reconciliation are drawn off the same books. The return matches the accounts because it was never a separate exercise.

Does Distribution · Cloud pack cost extra?

No. Distribution · Cloud pack is part of the accounting core rather than a paid add-on, so the day, stop by stop is there on the entry tier exactly as it is on the highest one. What the tiers change is reach and depth — devices, multi-branch and multi-warehouse reporting, and whether the conversational AI copilots are switched on.
