How do I start the free trial?
Sign up, download the LekhaPro desktop app for Windows, and you can begin a 14-day free trial — no card required. Create a company and you’re ready to bill and post entries.
Is LekhaPro really offline?
Yes. LekhaPro is offline-first. The core accounting, GST and billing functions run on your machine without needing an internet connection.
Where is my data stored?
Your data is kept in a local SQLite database on your own computer. Backups are AES-256 encrypted. Your books never leave your machine as a condition of using the software.
How do I activate my license on the desktop app?
After purchasing a plan, sign in to the desktop app with your account and enter your license details. The app validates your plan and unlocks the corresponding features.
Do you support GST filing?
LekhaPro prepares GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B and generates e-invoice and e-way bill JSON today. Live, GSP-certified filing is on our roadmap and is not yet available — see the roadmap page for current status.
Which Windows versions are supported?
LekhaPro runs on modern 64-bit Windows. If you’re unsure whether your machine is supported, contact us and we’ll confirm before you start.
How do I cancel or get a refund?
You can cancel at any time. For refund eligibility and how to request one, reach out to support and we’ll walk you through it.
How do I import bank statements?
You can bring in bank statement data to speed up reconciliation. Open the banking section in the desktop app and follow the import flow; if a format isn’t recognised, let support know.
Is there a mobile app?
Not yet. A mobile companion app is on our roadmap as a planned, not-yet-available feature. LekhaPro today is a Windows desktop application.
How do I get updates and the latest GST changes?
LekhaPro updates itself. When you open the desktop app it checks for the latest version and installs it in the background — no reinstalling. Updates are free and included in every plan, and when GST rates, return formats or e-invoice rules change we ship an update so you stay compliant. Compliance-critical updates roll out as required updates, and your local books and backups are never touched by an update.
