“Offline mode” usually means a cached copy of a few screens and a queue that syncs later. This is not that. On the Desktop edition the entire application — the ledger, GST returns, stock, banking, the full report set — runs against a database on your own disk, because that is where it always was. There is no sync to fall behind, no conflict to resolve when the line comes back, and no month-end where the answer depends on whether the connection held.
Encrypted backup, when you want it.
Cloud-only apps stop when the connection does. LekhaPro doesn't — the cloud is a convenience, never a dependency.
