What a phone already does, with nothing installed
The Cloud edition is a responsive web application, so a phone browser reaches the same books as the desk. For most of what people want a mobile app for, this is already it.
Bill from a phone browser
The Cloud edition is responsive. Raise a GST invoice, take a payment against it and send it on WhatsApp from a handset, with no install and no store account.
Read the business anywhere
Sales, receivables, stock positions and the ageing report are the same live figures the desktop shows, because they are the same database — not a synced copy that can drift.
Approve without a laptop
Purchase orders, quotations and expense claims that are waiting on you can be approved from the phone, so an approval queue stops being the thing that holds up a day.
Touch-first field screens
Several modules ship screens laid out for a thumb rather than a mouse — van sales delivery, stock counting and site attendance among them.
An app that shows convincing numbers that are not your numbers is worse than no app.
Which is why it is not in a store yet, and why the screen above is captioned rather than presented as a running product.

Where the native app actually is
Two of these four steps are unfinished, and they are the two that matter most. We would rather you read that here than find it out after buying something.
The screens are real and they run. What they are not is connected — the prototype makes no network call at all, so every figure inside it is sample data.

Why build it
Six things a browser tab cannot do
If the phone browser covers the office work, a native app has to justify itself on what needs the device. This is that list — and it is the whole reason the project exists.
Barcode at counter speed
The camera as a scanner, fast enough to bill a queue — the browser API is not dependable enough across Android handsets to sell.
Capture a bill on the spot
Photograph a purchase invoice, have it read, and file it against the vendor before the paper reaches the office.
Capture with no signal
Write an entry in a basement godown or a village stockyard and let it settle when the phone finds a network again.
Push that reaches you
A payment received, a GST deadline, an approval waiting — delivered when the app is closed, which a web page cannot do reliably.
Proof of where
Delivery confirmation and field-staff attendance stamped with a location, rather than a claim typed in afterwards.
Fingerprint and Face unlock
The books behind the device lock, so a phone left on a counter is not an open till.
Questions
Can I download the LekhaPro mobile app today?+
No. There is no app on the App Store or the Play Store, and no beta build to hand out. What exists is a complete interface prototype, which is why this page shows you its state rather than a download button. Until that changes, the way to use LekhaPro on a phone is the Cloud edition in a mobile browser.
When will it be released?+
We are not giving a date. The remaining work is connecting the built screens to the live ledger and the security review that has to follow it, and neither has a schedule we would be willing to hold you to. Ask us to notify you and you will hear when there is a build to try, not before.
What can I actually do from a phone right now?+
A good deal. The Cloud edition is mobile-optimised: invoicing, payment recording, customer lookup, approvals and the main reports all work in a phone browser, against your real data. What you cannot do is scan a barcode at counter speed, capture entries with no signal, or receive push notifications — those are the reasons a native app is being built at all.
Is the screen shown on this page the real app?+
It is the real design, drawn faithfully — the sign-in screen exactly as it is specified, down to the type and the colour. What it is not is connected: no email you could type into it would send anything, because the prototype makes no network calls. We show it because "the interface is designed" is a claim you deserve to be able to check rather than take on trust.
Is the Desktop edition available on mobile?+
No, and it will not be. Desktop is a Windows application that keeps your database on your own disk; that is the whole point of it. If you run Desktop and want a phone in the picture, the path is the Cloud edition alongside it — see the comparison page.
Will the mobile app cost extra?+
That has not been decided, and we would rather say so than imply a free app to win a signup today. When pricing is settled it will appear on the pricing page like every other line.
Will it work on both Android and iOS?+
That is the intent — the prototype is built on a cross-platform stack for exactly that reason. Which store it reaches first is not settled.
Start on the phone you already have
The Cloud edition opens in a mobile browser on a 14-day trial, no card required. When the native app is ready it will read the same books — nothing to migrate.
