AMC Management Software in the UAE
Every job card, AMC and SLA clock in one place — with preventive-maintenance visits generated from the contract. For a service business in the UAE — 5% VAT administered by the Federal Tax Authority.
What applies in the UAE
The AMC management software runs in the UAE exactly as it does anywhere else — it is browser-based on the Cloud edition and nothing in it is specific to one country's tax code.
What does not travel is the statutory layer. LekhaPro files Indian GST returns; it does not compute, file or e-invoice under UAE VAT (FTA). Businesses in the UAE run it as an operations system and keep filing where they file today.
Amounts are held and printed in AED, which LekhaPro formats natively.
What a service business in the UAE gets
- Job cards for field and workshop, raised fresh or escalated from a ticket
- A dispatch board sequencing each technician’s day from their service centre
- AMC and warranty plans with a generated PM visit calendar
- SLA policies and service-centre masters behind every job
- Frozen business-hours SLA clocks with pause credit and penalty credit notes
Every capability above is the same one described on the AMC & Service feature page — this page adds where it applies, not what it does. Compare the Desktop and Cloud editions, or see pricing.
What it does not do in the UAE
- No UAE VAT (FTA) support. LekhaPro does not compute, file or e-invoice under it, and there is no roadmap commitment to. Statutory filing in the UAE stays with your existing provider.
- No payroll or HRMS. Neither is built, in any market. Staff costs are recorded as ordinary expense vouchers.
- The native mobile app does not exist. Field screens are responsive web, not an installed app.
Questions from the UAE
Can a business in the UAE actually use LekhaPro's AMC management software?
Yes, for operations. Every job card, AMC and SLA clock in one place — with preventive-maintenance visits generated from the contract. It runs in any browser on the Cloud edition. What it will not do in the UAE is your statutory filing: LekhaPro implements Indian GST, not UAE VAT (FTA). Most businesses outside India run it alongside a local filing tool rather than instead of one.
Does LekhaPro file UAE VAT (FTA)?
No, and it is worth being plain about it: LekhaPro's tax engine is built for Indian GST. It does not calculate or submit UAE VAT (FTA). Everything above the tax line — the AMC management software, the documents, the reporting — works normally.
What currency will my documents be in?
AED. It is one of the five currencies LekhaPro formats natively — INR, USD, EUR, GBP and AED — so totals, grouping and the currency symbol all render correctly.
Is there a payroll or HR module for the UAE?
No. Payroll and HRMS are not built — not for India and not anywhere else. Salaries and staff costs are recorded as ordinary expense vouchers and post to the ledger like any other payment.
